Erica graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this she completed her undergraduate degree at York University in Kinesiology and Health Science, Specialized Honours. Erica uses a holistic approach to treat all her patients with the goal of optimizing their quality of life and function. She has worked with patients of all ages in private practice to treat various orthopaedic injuries, provide exercise programs for injury prevention, pain management for acute/chronic injuries, and postural education. She also works with atypical and typical developing children at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital on the Orthopaedic and Developmental Rehab Unit. She empowers her patients to be actively involved in their rehabilitation by providing education and exercise prescription that is appropriate for their age and stage of recovery.

Erica values post-graduate education and has completed courses on the following topics to integrate into her treatment (Sport taping, Level 1 Manual Therapy, Neurokinetic therapy, Neurodevelopmental Therapy, Dynamic Core, Postural Control Strategies). She is an active learner that seeks new evidenced based research and interventions to enhance her clinical practice.

Erica grew up as a competitive soccer player and enjoyed playing various sports recreationally. She continues to live an active lifestyle and encourages everyone to find a type of physical mobility that they enjoy and can incorporate into their routine. Some of Erica’s personal interests to maintain her physical and mental health are travelling, circuit training, practicing yoga, meditating, and listening to podcasts.
