There is growing evidence for what physiotherapy can do to treat pelvic conditions in men and women and in our practice we see excellent outcomes for our patients.

We treat a variety of conditions including:

Urinary incontinence

Male and female pelvic pain

Vaginal pain

Pelvic organ prolapse

All patients are assessed by a licensed physiotherapist who is specifically trained and rostered in pelvic health management. They will take account of your full history and include any issues related to your low back, hips, core strength, previous injuries, surgeries or pregnancies. Treatments may include manual therapy, exercises, lifestyle and dietary advice depending on your particular needs.

Initial assessments last approximately one hour and follow up appointments are typically 30 minutes. In addition to an in-depth history of the patient’s complaint and screening for low back issues, the physiotherapists will carry out an internal examination (vaginally and/or rectally), much like a gynecological examination.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ module_class=”first-on-mobile” _builder_version=”4.4.5″][et_pb_image src=”http://luludigital.com/fairlawn/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/abdomen.jpg” title_text=”abdomen” force_fullwidth=”on” _builder_version=”4.4.5″][/et_pb_image][et_pb_button button_url=”http://luludigital.com/fairlawn/contact-us/” button_text=”Make An Appointment” button_alignment=”center” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ custom_button=”on” button_text_color=”#ffffff” button_bg_color=”#0682ac” button_icon=”%%128%%” box_shadow_style=”preset3″ global_module=”923″ saved_tabs=”all” locked=”off” button_bg_color__hover=”#596976″ button_bg_color__hover_enabled=”on|hover”][/et_pb_button][et_pb_social_media_follow disabled_on=”on|on|off” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ text_orientation=”center” global_module=”924″ saved_tabs=”all”][et_pb_social_media_follow_network social_network=”facebook” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ background_color=”#3b5998″ follow_button=”off” url_new_window=”on”]facebook[/et_pb_social_media_follow_network][et_pb_social_media_follow_network social_network=”instagram” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ background_color=”#ea2c59″ follow_button=”off” url_new_window=”on”]instagram[/et_pb_social_media_follow_network][/et_pb_social_media_follow][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ fullwidth=”on” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ global_module=”948″][et_pb_fullwidth_code module_class=”googlemap” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ custom_padding=”||0px||false|false” filter_saturate=”0%” custom_css_main_element=”line-height:0px;”][/et_pb_fullwidth_code][/et_pb_section]

[et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ custom_padding_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ background_color=”#596976″ custom_padding=”200px||||false|false” custom_padding_tablet=”40px||||false|false” custom_padding_phone=”” animation_style=”fade” global_module=”1346″ saved_tabs=”all” locked=”off”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.4.5″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.4.5″][et_pb_post_title meta=”off” text_color=”light” _builder_version=”4.4.5″ title_font_size=”45px” text_orientation=”center”][/et_pb_post_title][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.4.5″ custom_margin=”||||false|false” animation_style=”fade”][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_5,2_5″ module_class=”custom_row” _builder_version=”4.4.5″][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ module_class=”second-on-mobile” _builder_version=”4.4.5″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.5″ header_2_font_size=”30px” header_2_line_height=”1.5em” header_3_text_color=”#000000″ header_3_line_height=”1.5em”] Patients are more and more frequently being referred to physiotherapy for a wide range of pelvic pain and incontinence issues.
